Every family has their own way of remembering someone. You can have our audio visual team create the Life Story Presentation for you, or create your own using software you’re familiar with.
Our audio-visual specialist will send you a secure link to upload your photographs and music. We'll arrange the images, add your chosen music and prepare the presentation for the funeral service.
Prefer to put it together yourself? Many families create their own life story presentation using software they are already comfortable with, such as PowerPoint, a mobile app, or desktop editing software.
Guidelines for a smooth presentation
A little preparation goes a long way. These guidelines help make sure your slideshow looks its best and runs smoothly on the day.
Provide your photos in JPEG format, from a phone, tablet, or computer.
40 photos is the optimal number for a well-paced presentation.
Number each photo from 1 to 40, in the order you would like them to appear.
Label the title page photo simply as “title”.
Nominate one song or instrumental, ideally between 3 and 3.5 minutes long.
Our specialist will adjust the music to fit the length of the presentation.
Provide the final file as an MP4 video, in landscape orientation.
Open with a title page, and repeat it at the end, so our team knows exactly when to start and stop the presentation.

The length of the slideshow should match the length of your chosen music.

If you're having a burial, a song can also be played at the graveside during the committal, a quiet final moment as your loved one is laid to rest.
